Yumi, labeled The Nice Goth, is a camper on Season One of Total Drama Naruto Lyoko and was placed on the Screaming Gophers.

In Cliffhangers, Yumi was the first "Lyoko" character to arrive. She immediately did not like the camp as she thought it would look better. After Sissi arrived, they both immediately glared at each other. When Ulrich arrived, she seemed to be very happy. When the teams were made, she was mad that she woud be on the same team as Sissi. She was the first contestant to use the confessional, where she stated that the island was ok so far. While settling into the cabins, Yumi told Sissi that they were supposed to have a summer camp feel to it. Later, while introducing herself, Yumi told the "Naruto" girls that she was also Japanese. She then argued with Sissi when she complained about the communal washrooms. When Jim was revealed to be the chef, Yumi, along with the other "Lyoko" characters, were shocked to see him. She was confused by Sissi's reason of not wanting to jump and easily jumped herself. When it was Choji's turn to jump, she stated in the confessional that she thought he would die. She cheered for her team's win and and also cheered at the hot tub party.

In Insomniacs, after Mayu was introduced and Beast Boy told the teams about the Awake-a-thon, Yumi guessed that the early awakening and the twenty mile run across camp was to make it harder for them to stay awake, which was correct. While everyone was walking to the firepit, Ulrich asked Yumi how long she thought it would be before everyone fell asleep and Yumi answered that it would be about an hour or less. After twelve hours passed, Yumi thought the Awake-a-thon was the worst thing she'd ever done, but after Ulrich asked Yumi if it was even worse than dying on Lyoko, she corrected herself and said it was the second worst thing she'd ever done. Later on, Ulrich and Yumi were looking at the stars and Ulrich wondered where the Little Dipper was, so Yumi told him that it was just off the tip of the handle of the Big Dipper. After Naruto disappeared in a puff of smoke, after being punched by Sakura, Yumi didn't think it was possible for her to be strong enough to punch him and make him disappear. Later, as Beast Boy was reading the "History of Canada" to the five awake campers, Yumi asked Mayu about her glowing necklace, and after she finished explaining, Yumi was shocked to see Ulrich fall asleep after staring at the necklace. When Beast Boy offered a bathroom break to Sasuke and Yumi, Sasuke said that he could hold it in and Yumi asked him if he could hold it in for the "History of the Hoover Dam." After Sasuke fell asleep in the bathroom, Beast Boy announced that Yumi won the challenge for her team, just as she fell asleep.

During Beast Ball, when Yumi walked into the mess hall, her team started cheering for her since she won the last challenge for them. When she got to her table, she said she was so tired that she couldn't feel her face and proceeded to plant her face on the table. Yumi was asleep for the rest of the episode, but when it came to voting someone off, she said in the confessional that even though she'd like to see Sissi leave, Shikamaru was useless, so she voted him off.

In Wawanakwa's Got Talent, when Beast Boy gathered the teams to the amphitheater, Ulrich let Yumi sit next to him while they listened to Beast Boy explain the next challenge. When Sissi told everyone that she was team captain because Kiba and Tenten voted for her, Yumi told her that it wasn't very democratic to threaten them to vote for her. After Choji's audition, Yumi walked off, and when Sissi asked her where she was going, she replied that she going anywhere that wasn't there. Later on, Yumi walked back to the cabins and Sissi asked her where she was, Yumi told her that it was none of her business, walked into the cabin, put a swimsuit on, and left for the dock, accompanied by Ulrich. While Ulrich and Yumi were on the dock, Yumi talked about how much everyone drove her crazy, she then looked at Ulrich sweetly and said that almost everyone drove her crazy. Soon after, Odd and Choji ran in and did a cannonball into the water, splashing Yumi, and causing her to get mad and leave the dock. When Yumi tried to get into her cabin, Kiba blocked her way and, in an effort to stop her from going inside, asked her if she'd like to go out with him. She declined and threatened to throw Kiba out of the way. Kiba reminded her that he was a ninja and she growled at him, causing him to finally get out of the way and for her to act suspicous when she saw that Sissi was inside. When Sissi came up to perform, she revealed that she would be reading Yumi's diary, causing Yumi to stare in disbelief as she read it. Yumi eventually got her dairy back as Mayu took it from Sissi, before she got too far, and gave it back to Yumi. When Yumi saw that Jeremy got voted off, she was seen angry, along with Aelita, Odd, and Ulrich. After Jeremy left, Yumi went to Mayu's cabin, and asked if she wanted to help her get revenge on Sissi. She agreed, and they covered Sissi's bed with ants.

In The Not So Great Outdoors, Ulrich offered to walk with Yumi, but she refused and walked faster, Ulrich asked if she was mad about the diary, but Yumi didn't respond. Yumi did not speak again until after Odd revealed himself to be the bear that attacked the Screaming Gophers' campsite. She asked him in fustration why he scared them, and Odd replied that he thought it would be funny. When a real bear showed up, Choji, Odd, and Ulrich thought it was Beast Boy using his powers, but Yumi disagreed and thought it was real. When they figured out it wasn't Beast Boy, they all hid in the same tree from when it was Odd it in a bear suit. After the challenge, Yumi was seen enjoying the reward party with the rest of her team.

In Fear Antics, while the contestants were sharing their fears, Yumi revealed that she was afraid of being buried alive. The next day, Yumi gasped when Best Boy says her fear challenge is to be buried alive and when Aelita questioned the fact that Beast Boy was listening to them tell their worst fears, she told her that they're always listening since it's a reality show. During her fear challenge, Yumi is put into a glass coffin with only a walkie-talkie and is buried for three minutes. During the three minutes, Yumi had Ulrich keep her company via walkie-talkie. She asked him to distract her by telling her why he was afraid of mimes. He started, but an actual mime appears and he ran off, dropping the walkie-talkie and leaving Yumi alone. She was later dug back up well past her three minutes, after Ulrich remembered that she was underground, and she threw her walkie-talkie at him afterwards.

In Ready Oar Not, Yumi tried to partner up with Ulrich in the canoe challenge, but ended up canoing with Odd after Ulrich was dragged to Tenten and Aelita's canoe. During the canoe trip, Odd tells Yumi that he can get Ulrich to ride with her on the way back. Yumi was happy to hear this until Odd then said that he would do it if she put on a semi-revealing bikini, due to a bet with Choji. This angered Yumi and she hit him in the groin with a canoe paddle. She was quiet throughout most of the episode and was happy when Odd does in fact have Ulrich ride back to camp with her.

In Paintball It Up, when the girls were all waiting in line for Sissi to get out of restroom, Yumi got fed up with waiting and decided to go, as she put it, "lumberjack style" and walked off. When Naruto asked what a gun was, Yumi explained that it was a weapon filled with metal bullets. After Mayu shot Sissi, Yumi and the others thought it was a real gun, and Yumi actually seemed glad at Sissi's supposed death, although, this caused her to get stared at. Soon after, Sissi got back up, and Yumi and Mayu felt majorly disappointed, wondering how they were still alive until the guns were revealed to be paintball guns. When the teams were decided for the challenge, Yumi wound up being a deer for her team, along with Ulrich, Odd, and Sissi. During their head start, Yumi automatically thought it was lame. When Odd suggested it would be fun, her, Sissi, and Ulrich all glared at him, causing him to run off. Afterwards, when Sissi said she was going to wait for Tenten to protect her from getting hit, Yumi suggested that it was cheating, but walked off with Ulrich anyway. She was not seen again until the end of the episode where she felt bad when Odd was eliminated.

In Batter Up!, Yumi helped Aelita make a flambé but failed as it burst into flames prematurely. She was also seen helping Ulrich with the Ratatouille plate. When the girls were throwing around Sissi's makeup bag, Aelita threw it to Yumi. Sissi demanded her to give the bag back to her, but Yumi refused and threw it to Tenten. She survived the elimination ceremony and the next day her, along with the other remaining girls, were seen in the lake laughing at Herb who was naked on the dock, courtesy of Naruto, Sasuke, and Rock Lee.
